Hazelden, one of the planet’s largest and most trustworthy non-public, charitable alcoholic and drug treatment centers, unveiled today that it will widen it’s out-patient drug addiction treatment and psychological health related services to Chaska, Minnesota, in a that will aid grown people as well as girls and boys as young as twelve.
“Addiction affects people of all ages, and Hazelden understands the growing need for outpatient treatment for busy families,” reports Mark G. Mishek, president and CEO of Hazelden. “In addition to expanding services for adults, Hazelden is reaching out like never before to young people. We don’t want them missing out on the good stuff of growing up: being with friends they can count on, figuring out what they’re good at and achieving their academic goals.”
Hazelden in Chaska will open its business to men and women on March 1, and to youth about April 1. The facility is located on the third floor in the Hazeltine Gates building, 1107 Hazeltine Blvd., having very easy access from Highways 212 and 41. The 5,400-square-foot alcohol treatment center features separate rooms for youths and grownups, such as a meeting area for young adults that encourages peer interconnection and also kinetic learning. The north-facing glass windows open to a view of the Municipal Golf Course in Chaska.
